Introducing Hubling Playschool, a two-hour daily drop-off service where children engage in a variety of enriching activities. We don’t just babysit, we help your Hubling discover the joy of learning. Tailored for children ages 0-6 but can accommodate children 0-6 our program features a rotating weekly curriculum designed by our dedicated Playschool teacher. From arts to interactive learning, each session is crafted to foster curiosity and social skills in a fun, nurturing environment.

Hubling Playschool Program FAQ

Check-In/Out Procedures

  • Q: What are the check-in and check-out procedures for Hubling Playschool?
  • A: Children aged 6 months to 6 years can be checked in once per day for a maximum of 2 hours. You must secure the spot of your Hubling prior to drop off by using our one click reservation system. Spaces can be booked up to 5 days in advance for your convenience. The guardian must remain on the premises and is required to sign the child in and out. Children will only be released to the person who signed them in and must have an active membership or a day pass.

Programming

  • A: Our programming is dynamic, changing daily to keep children engaged. Please check our schedule regularly for updates!

Parent Involvement

  • Q: Can I stay with my child during the program?
  • A: To ensure children can participate fully and independently, we request parents to stay in the check-in area and exit promptly after dropping off their children.

Behavior Policy

  • Q: What behavior is expected at Hubling Playschool, and what are the consequences of misbehavior?
  • A: Respectful interaction is required at all times. Inappropriate behaviors like foul language, kicking, or hitting lead to disciplinary actions ranging from being asked to leave for the day to a permanent suspension after multiple warnings.

Emergency Procedures

  • A: In emergencies like evacuations, children will be released to their guardians from a designated location. Staff will ensure each child is safely handed over to their guardians, who must sign out their children.

Injury and Illness

  • A: Any injuries are promptly addressed, and parents are immediately notified. Sick children will be isolated and must be picked up by their parents. Children showing signs of illness or those who were too sick for school cannot attend the program.

General Health Policies

  • A: Children exhibiting symptoms like fever, vomiting, or contagious conditions like pink eye will be excluded from the program to maintain a healthy environment. A doctor’s note may be required for children to return after being sick.

Food and Beverage Policy

  • A: To ensure safety and cleanliness, no outside food or beverages are allowed except for water in clearly marked bottles. Please ensure your child has eaten prior to attending.

Diapering and Bathroom Policies

  • A: Parents must change diapers before check-in. Hubling staff do not attend to diapering. Older children can use the restroom independently, but you will be called if assistance is needed.

Personal Items and Comfort

  • A: Personal items from home are discouraged except for security items for children under 2. This helps prevent losses and distractions.

Crying Children

  • Q: What if my child can’t stop crying?
  • A: Our staff will attempt to console your child, but if they cannot be comforted, you will be called to assist.
